Donald Trump officially takes office as president of the United States

Washington has published a photo of US President Donald Trump’s slogan ,,America is Back’’ being published on the official White House website.

The photo shows a smiling president pointing his finger at one of his supporters. The motto appears at the bottom of the photo.

On January 20 this year, Trump officially took office as president of the United States, becoming the 47th head of state. CNN reported this in a transmitted text.

,,I solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States of America, and that I will to the best of my ability preserve, defend, and protect our Constitution’’, Trump said during his oath.

In addition, the new president raised his hand and took the oath of office using a Bible that his mother gave him in 1955, which was placed on a second Bible used by President Abraham Lincoln to take the oath of office in 1861.

Trump’s fellow candidate, James D. Vance, was sworn in as vice president of the United States during a ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda. He was sworn in before Brett Kavanaugh, an associate justice of the United States Supreme Court, appointed in Trump’s first term.

Among the first documents signed by the new president on January 20 are several appointments to government agencies and departments, as well as a proclamation stating that flags will be flown atop the Capitol mast on inauguration days.
