Donald Trump wants to establish a New World Order

US President Donald Trump intends to end the era of great power rivalry and is ready to build relations with the Russian Federation as a partner, according to the Axios news portal.

The publication notes that the actions of all US presidential administrations over the past decade have been based on a bipartisan consensus that China is trying to overtake the United States economically, and Russia wants to undermine it. Trump intends to challenge this notion and create a new world order in which great powers enter into partnerships, rather than limiting each other's ambitions.

,,Trump’s new strategy towards Russia resembles his change of course towards China - a move away from confrontation and a move towards compromise and agreements, being a project to ,,extinguish’’ the old liberal order’’, the material states.

In turn, the news agency Politico revealed that Washington is considering the idea of establishing an alternative to the Group of Seven (G7) without the participation of the Europeans.

The American leader advocates for a bloc that would not take into account the G7 requirement that member states be both highly developed and democratically governed. Such an organization would be called the ,,Core Five (C5)”, consisting of the United States, China, Russia, Japan and India.

Like the G7, the bloc would organize regular summits on specific topics. The first item on the agenda proposed by the C5 is security in the Middle East, in particular the normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
