Volodymyr Zełenski congratulated Andrzej Duda on his victory

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski gave President Andrzej Duda “warm congratulations on his election victory.” He also invited the head of state to pay a visit to Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zełenski posted on Twitter on Monday in Polish and Ukrainian, in which he emphasized that “he congratulates Duda with the victory in the election.” The tweets were joined by photos showing both heads of state.

“I wish Poland under the leadership of the President further successes and prosperity,” said Zełenski. And he added: “Together we are stronger”.

Zełenski also invited Duda to pay a visit to Ukraine “to continue the fruitful cooperation.” “Together we are stronger!” – he emphasized.

According to the National Electoral Commission on Monday, based on data from 99.97 percent of the constituencies, in the second round of elections Andrzej Duda obtained 51.21 percent and Rafał Trzaskowski – 48.79 percent.
