Maria Zakharova assessed the possibility of splitting NATO

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, evaluated the cohesion of the NATO member countries and the way in which they assume their responsibilities. Her words were heard in a program on the CP radio station.

 Zakharova believes that there is no unity between NATO states, ,,but there is violence’’. The North Atlantic Alliance itself places its weapons and military in various countries ,,by the right of the powerful’’ and ,,against the interests and wishes of the local residents’’.

At the same time, it is too early to talk about a split in the alliance, the Kremlin spokeswoman believes. But even now it can be observed,,how many countries are trying to oppose the will of the Alliance, how the peoples of these states are uniting and protesting in large numbers’’. However, Zakharovadid not specify which mass protests she was referring to.

In addition, she also commented on the incident of March 15 of this year, in which two Russian planes allegedly dropped fuel on the American MQ-9 drone in international airspace. One of the planes then allegedly hit the drone, causing it to crash into the Black Sea.

,,The drone could be recovered by a private Ukrainian company, which, according to Washington’s propaganda, independently organized the explosions of the Nord Stream gas pipelines. If I read the American newspapers, it turns out that the company would be a specialist in such rescue operations’’, Zakharova commented ironically on her Telegram page.

Moscow denied that it had direct contact with the drone, and the Russian Defense Ministry said that it violated the ,,borders of the region of the temporary airspace use regime’’ established since the beginning of the ,,military operation’’ in Ukraine and that crashed into the sea after ,,going into uncontrolled flight’’.
