Paris is supplying over 150 French drones to Kiev

Paris has started supplying Kiev with drones produced by the French company Delair, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu said on X (formerly Twitter).

,,More than 150 drones have been selected, the deliveries being made and financed by France’’, the minister wrote.

Delair makes several types of drones, including reconnaissance ones. Lecornu did not specify which drones Kyiv will receive.

France has supported Ukraine militarily since the beginning of hostilities. Paris has supplied Kiev with armored vehicles, artillery pieces (including MLRS), aircraft, SCALP missiles and other weapons systems. Moscow condemns the supply of weapons to Ukraine and says that this will not prevent the achievement of the goals of the ,,special operation’’.

According to the RBC media group, Russian regions have been attacked by drones more than 500 times since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Moscow blames Kiev for the attacks. Kremlin authorities are taking all possible measures to protect the regions from drone attacks, Russian President Dmitry Peskov’s spokesman said. He explained the intensification of these attacks by the fact that the Ukrainian armed forces are not successful in the course of the counteroffensive.

,,The efforts of the Kiev regime are futile. Out of desperation, Ukrainians are resorting to tactics similar to terrorist attacks, where civilian targets are targeted, and such actions disgust us deeply. We will respond with everything we can’’, Peskov said.

In addition, he believes that Ukraine’s failures on the front ,,raise big questions’’ in the West, because Kiev has received ,,multi-billion dollar resources’’ that are ,,actually spent ineffectively and aimlessly’’.
