France called the risks for Europe if Ukraine loses the war

If Ukraine is defeated, the situation for the member countries of the European Union will become catastrophic, and collective security will have to allocate more than two percent of GDP. This was stated by French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné in an interview with Le Monde daily.

Séjourné believes that in agriculture alone, Russian Federation could take control of over 30% of the world wheat market and ,,use its wins against the Europeans’’.

Also, according to the minister, Ukraine could disintegrate as a state, with ten million citizens leaving the country.

Séjourné denied any rumors of misunderstandings between France and Germany regarding assistance to the Kiev regime.

,,We don't have such conflicts and we agree 80% on the discussed issues. I had discussions with my counterpart Annalena Baerbock. One common thing we should work on is supplying Ukraine with new missiles’’, he said.

We remind that at the end of February a.c. disagreements emerged between French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz over long-term support for Ukraine. An example would be the possible sending of NATO soldiers to the borders with Russia. Scholz made it clear that the North Atlantic Alliance would not take part in the war, but Macron considered sending Western military forces to Ukraine, an idea that was later heavily criticized by the US and the EU.
