Serbia's president sees a bleak future for Europe
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić warned of the deterioration of the security situation in Europe. He stated this on June 23 this year during the award ceremony for the best employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.
During the ceremony, Vučić addressed the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić, urging him to prepare for a difficult period.
,,Be prepared for hard times, not because Serbia is in an unpleasant situation, on the contrary... but for everything that will happen internationally, which will affect us too’’, the leader of the republic said .
Vučić also noted that world peace has lost its place, and the events that will take place until the end of the year are very unpredictable
,,As the world is changing, it is necessary to cooperate with both the West and the East. We have to take care of the national economy, it is the cornerstone of our security’’, said the president.
At the same time, Vučić recalled the bombing of Serbia by NATO forces, which he called as criminal and illegal, and due to the human and material losses the country suffered - Belgrade understands how important freedom and independence of taking decisions are.
Earlier, Vučić called on the international community to negotiate peace to end the war in Ukraine, as it has a scale that can lead to a tragedy greater than the one caused by the Second World War.
