Graduated in 2011 from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Russian Philology, of the University of Bucharest. After completing his master's studies in Russian Culture Studies and Russian Language for Business in 2013, he attended the Doctoral School of Literary and Cultural Studies for 3 years, and in 2016, he was awarded the title of Doctor of Philology with the distinction "Excellent."

He is currently a university lecturer in the Department of Russian and Slavic Philology at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bucharest. He has conducted research at the Romanian Revolution Institute of December 1989, where he published studies dedicated to the Romanian Revolution of December 1989 and the dynamics of the Soviet space. His scientific work includes volumes such as Post-imperium – the Russian Idea of the 21st Century (University of Bucharest Publishing House, Bucharest, 2018); December 1989: TASS is Authorised to Declare... (IRRD Publishing House, Bucharest, 2017); The Romanian Revolution of December 1989 in the British and American Press, co-author, (IRRD Publishing House, Bucharest, 2019); USSR (1922–1991). A Century Since Formation, Three Decades Since Dissolution. Current Perceptions, coordinator (Corint Publishing House, Bucharest, 2024). He has published over 40 studies and articles in collective volumes and specialised journals on topics specific to his field of expertise and areas of interest, namely: Russian language, culture, and civilisation; geo-history, geo-culture, and geo-linguistics; and the history of Sino-Russian cultural relations.
