The Black Sea House Association at the meeting of the Strategic Reflection Group “Romania in the European Union”

The President of the Black Sea House Association, Dr Dorin Popescu, recently participated, on April 1, 2026, in the meeting of the Strategic Reflection Group "Romania in the European Union" of the Presidential Administration (RUE), a meeting in which the President of Romania, Mr Nicușor Dan, also took part.
The Group analysed Romania's opportunities to strengthen its profile and political influence within the EU. Members identified a window for Romania to build its EU profile through proactive diplomacy and full involvement in shaping the Eastern European and Black Sea region.
We would like to use this opportunity to congratulate Mr Valentin Naumescu, Presidential Advisor for European Affairs, for inspiring this format of strategic reflection and for inviting us to join the RUE initiative.
