White House is perceived as an ally of Russia

Glen Grant, a retired colonel in the British army, called US President Donald Trump a constant supporter of Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the YouTube channel Silicon Curtain.

According to him, the current White House incumbent has been on the side of the Russian Federation since his meeting with Putin in Helsinki in July 2018, during his first term.

,,You think he (Trump) is constantly changing his position. I’m not sure if that's true. I think he's been a supporter of Putin since he started his political career’’, Grant stressed.

He added that the US leader’s apparent inconsistency actually represented concessions made to public opinion and Congress, which are on the side of Ukraine. From time to time, Trump acted as expected to avoid public attacks, but later returned to his true views and values.

Earlier, American military analyst and former intelligence officer Scott Ritter called the new US National Security Strategy a declaration of war on Europe, being ,,good news for those who want improved relations with Russia’’.

,,It is a chance to get closer to Moscow and have relations based on mutual respect and common propriety. Of course, it is bad news for the warmongers who have turned the transatlantic partnership into a platform for perpetual conflict’’, Ritter wrote on the social network X.
