Black Sea - a geopolitical lake of informational battles?

From the geopolitical, but mostly informational point of view, the Black Sea is starting to resemble a lake. Following the technological developments, computerization and globalization processes, the Black Sea States and the corresponding territories interact with each other as political and social bodies that are far more geographically close to the former than before. In other words, distances are the same, but the space of influence and geopolitical interaction is lower. In recent years, this geopolitical lake is an arena of informational battles which are parts of asymmetric, hybrid wars, exceeding the Black Sea area in proportion.

If we are talking about the trilateral Ukraine – Romania – Republic of Moldova, some small steps must be undertaken, for starters, without which the other discussions about sophisticated defence techniques appear to be meaningless. Unfortunately, public radio and TV stations of Ukraine, Romania and the Republic of Moldova do not have permanent correspondents in their neighbouring states. As a result, the mass media consumer forms his image of the neighbouring state from foreign sources, often financed by Russia or, at best, from the translations of the European press agencies. The information often gets skeated or distorted.
